The Mystic Krewe of Titans rolls in Slidell on the New Orleans Northshore, drawing its name from the immortal, immensely powerful Titans of Greek mythology who ruled the cosmos before the Olympians, and since its founding in 2009 by Mardi Gras veterans has grown into a co-ed krewe of about 125 members known for family-friendly traditions, a classic parade packed with logo cups, medallion beads, footballs, shirts, lighted tambourines, foam batons, and necklaces, plus signature events like the Titans Mardi Gras Ball and the Mardi Gras Getaway Cruise.
